摘要
法国当代著名小说家让·艾什诺兹擅长通过符号化写物来表现世界,并始终坚持从人性化的视角来观察和组织符号,实现了写物在主观与客观之间的平衡;他坚持对叙事的兴趣,部分重建和恢复了小说文本的可读性,同时又以留白、淡化冲突以及借鉴电影表现手法等个性化处理方式更新叙事;他运用巴洛克式体裁,创造了丰富多元的小说空间,提供了多重解读的可能性,从而塑造了一种融传统、现代、后现代于一体的独特的平衡美学,为何谓当代性以及如何构建当代性等问题提供了一种可能的解答。
As a prestigious French novelist, Jean Echenoz is skillful at representing the world with symbolic description to achieve a reconciliation between the subjective and the objective phenomena. Cherishing the traditional elements in his writing, the writer reconstructs and restores the readability of the novel to a certain degree. Meanwhile, he also sticks to his individualized style by means of marginalizing or weakening dramatic conflicts or by resorting to techniques and devices adopted from film-making. In terms of genres, Echenoz removes the restrictions on the novel genre, enriches it with Baroque style, therefore creates a pluralistic fictional space, and makes multiple interpretations possible. As a result, he develops his own unique aesthetics, which balances traditional, modern and postmodern elements in his works, and provides a possible answer at the same time to the questions: "What is the contemporaneity?" and "How to construct it?"
