摘要
目的探索骨膜蛋白在不同级别脑膜瘤中表达及其关系。方法回顾性分析175例凸面型脑膜瘤患者的资料。依据WHO脑膜瘤分级,对各组标本进行骨膜蛋白和Ki-67免疫组织化学检测和蛋白免疫印迹检测。随访并对比不同表达水平脑膜瘤术后患者的生存时间、复发率和无进展生存时间。结果不同WHO级别脑膜瘤中Ki-67的表达差异有统计学意义(P<0.001),并且与WHO脑膜瘤的级别呈正相关(r=0.673,P<0.001)。116例(66.3%)脑膜瘤中骨膜蛋白免疫组化结果阴性/弱阳性,不同WHO级别脑膜瘤中骨膜蛋白的表达差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)并且与WHO级别呈正相关(r=0.742,P<0.001)。脑膜瘤中Ki-67与骨膜蛋白的表达呈正相关(r=0.513,P<0.001)。Ki-67和骨膜蛋白在WHOⅠ级与非WHOⅠ级脑膜瘤中表达差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。Ki-67和骨膜蛋白不同的表达水平脑膜瘤术后患者的复发率、无进展生存期率以及总体生存时间差异有统计学意义(P<0.001)。结论骨膜蛋白在脑膜瘤间质中表达,与Ki-67可能作为脑膜瘤级别和预后的标志物。
Objective The expression and role of periostin in meningiomas remains unknown. Methods The level of periostin and Ki - 67 index were evaluated in 175 convexi{y meningiomas with immunohistochemical staining. The association of the periostin lever and Ki - 67 with patient features were also evaluated. Results The expression of Ki - 67 was significantly positively correlated with the WHO grade ( r = 0. 673, P 〈 0. 001 ). Weak staining of periostin was ob- served in 116 (66. 3% ) cases. The expression of periostin was also positively correlated with the WHO grade (r = 0. 742, P 〈0. 001 ). Moreover, there was a positive correlation between the expression of Ki -67 expression and periostin (r = 0. 513, P 〈 0. 001 ). Finally, both Ki -67 expression and periostin were statistically correlated with tumor recurrence and the duration of PFS ( P 〈 0. 001 ). Conclusion Periostin was mainly expressed in the stroma of meningiomas. Both peri- ostin and Ki -67 may behave as a maker characterizing the invasion of meningiomas. Drugs targeting periostin deserves further study.
