摘要
听力任务难度影响因素的探究对于听力教学和考试开发都具有重要的理论价值与实践意义。本文主要探究测试方法对听力任务难度的影响,并试图探究测试方法各个特征之间的关系。研究发现:1)在输入文本特征中,以左侧嵌套式为代表的句法复杂度对测试任务难度有显著影响;2)在三个测试任务特征变量中,题型对任务难度有显著影响,其中三选一题型难度最低;3)输入文本与测试任务特征之间存在显著的相关性。综合而言,测试方法能够解释任务难度39.2%的方差。
Investigating the factors that might affect task difficulty is significant both theoretically and practically for the teaching and testing of listening comprehension.This article focuses on the effects of test method on listening task difficulty,and further attempts to investigate the relationships among features of different test methods.Findings indicate that 1)syntactical complexity(especially left-embeddedness)can affect task difficulty significantly;2)task type can also significantly affect task difficulty,with multiple choice items(three options)being the easiest;3)input text features are significantly correlated with task features.Test method factor as a whole accounts for 39.2 percent of the variance in task difficulty.
