摘要
开发了用于桥面铺装的沥青和沥青混合料,并对其性能进行了研究。高性能沥青是在基质沥青混合料中添加SBS改性剂和烃类物质改性而来。对高性能沥青进行了多种性能测试实验,结果表明高性能沥青的抗疲劳性能和抗低温开裂性能明显比基质沥青和SBS改性沥青好;混合料也进行了多种实验测试,结果表明高性能沥青混合料的疲劳寿命比SBS沥青混合料高3倍,而且抗水稳定性也非常好。最后进行的小尺寸加速加载试验证实了高性能沥青混合料的良好性能。
This paper investigate the performance of a high performance asphalt binder( HPAB)and high performance asphalt mixture( HPAM) used in the bridge deck system. The HPAB was developed using a styrene – butadiene – styrene( SBS) modifier and hydrocarbon. Various binder tests were conducted on the HPAB,and test results showed that the resistance to fatigue and low temperature cracking of the HPAB increased significantly compared to that of the base asphalt and SBS-modified asphalt binders. For the mixtures,the fatigue test results showed that the HPAM has a three times longer fatigue life than the SBS-modified asphalt mixture. It was also found that the HPAM has a higher resistance against moisture-induced damage. Results from full-scale accelerated testing on the bridge deck pavement system proved that the HPAM can significantly improve pavement performance.
