摘要
本文概要地叙述了码激励线性预测编码(CELP)的基本结构及其特点。在此基础上引出其不足之处,而着重介绍近年来国内外在解决这些问题上所作的努力,尤其是在解决复杂度问题方面所取得进展,包括电路构成、码本结构、搜索算法等等。这是码激励走向实用的前提。最后介绍在长途通信、移动通信和窄带保密通信等不同领域内综合运用上述成果的成功典型。广泛的应用领域,宽阔的数码率范围(16、8、4.8 kb/s),良好的话音质量,使码激励获得话音编码领域最引入注目的新进展。
In this paper, we summarized the distinct features of Code-excited Linear Predictive Codcrs (CELP) which produce high quality synthetic speech at low bit rate. However, the basic scheme leads to extcemely high computational loads and inadeguate reproduction of higher speeh frequencies. This paper give a general review for the efforts to overcome those shortcomings of CELP in recent years. Advances in thess regions have been accompanied by several standards for speech coding, both national and international.
