科学工程实践、跨学科概念与学科核心知识的整合——从《下一代科学教育标准》视角看WISE项目 被引量:20

摘要 美国《下一代科学教育标准》(NGSS)已成为美国乃至全球科学教育改革的最新里程碑。"基于网络的科学探究"(WISE)项目则是加州大学伯克利分校Marcia C.Linn教授主持开发的学术研究成果,也是国际学习科学领域的前沿性研究成果。NGSS强调通过表现期望,实现科学工程实践、跨学科概念与学科核心知识的整合;WISE项目则以科学工程实践为依托实现了三者的整合。WISE和NGSS具有较高的吻合度,作为WISE理论基础的知识整合教学理论与NGSS蕴含的整合思想相一致:二者都强调以科学工程实践作为整合的主要依托,都高度突出模型在科学探究中的作用,WISE项目的探究路线图和嵌入式评价,很好地体现了NGSS提出的学习进阶思想。我国科学教育应实现由知识吸入取向到知识整合取向的转变,科学探究学习的有效开展需要借助可视化技术和虚拟仿真模型,要充分发挥网络学习平台的整合优势,并为学生设计适度的脚手架。 Next Generation Science Standards has become a new milestone of science education reform in the United States and around the world. Web-based Inquiry Science Environment(WISE) developed by Professor Marcia C. Linn 's research team from University of California at Berkeley, is a cutting-edge research result in the area of learning science. NGSS emphasizes that S & E practices, crosscutting concepts and disciplinary core ideas should be integrated through performance expectations, and these integrations are implemented based on S & E practices in WISE projects. WISE has a high consistence with NGSS from many perspec-tives:(1) knowledge integration instructional theory, the underlying theory of WISE, is consistent with NGSS in terms of the idea of integration;(2) they both emphasize the crucial role of models in the scientific inquiry;(3) they both emphasize that three dimensions of learning should be integrated within S & E practices;(4) the inquiry maps and embedded assessments in WISE projects put the thought of learning progressions proposed by NGSS into practice. Science education in China needs to be shifted from knowledge-telling approach to knowledge integration approach. To achieve effective science inquiry learning, teachers need to take advantages of models like visualizations and simulations, and web-based learning environment which help integrate all related activities and data collected. Furthermore, designing moderate scaffoldings for students ' inquiry is essential.
