Accumulator is a kind of energy storage device, and it occupies a very important position in hydraulic system. With the combination of characteristics of mining shovel scooter with 25 t capacity, introduced the principle and classification of the energy storage device. The specific application and function of accumulator were described in detail, the selection and calculation of the volume and pressure of accumulator were made, and the using process and maintenance of accumulator were explained.
