摘要
根据玉料的材质、形状、裂隙等特征,将寿桃与蝉相结合,进行设计加工。寿桃造型作为一种吉祥元素,被广泛运用到玉雕创作中。在玉雕构图中,作为次要元素,与寿仙、童子、蝙蝠等共同构图,寓意健康长寿。蝉是周而复始,延绵不断的生物,寓意子孙万代、生生不息。蝉的玉石造型以立体圆雕为主。设计首次将寿桃与蝉相结合,尝试以寿桃为主体元素进行创作,以立体圆雕的形式进行造型设计,表达了健康长寿子孙万代的美好祝愿,并讲述了设计原理、制作过程以及制作过程中出现的问题及解决途径。
According to materials, shapes and fracture characteristics of the jade, this pro ject combined the pattern of longevity peach with the one of cicada. The peach pattern, regarded as the auspicious pattern, was expansively applied into the jade carving design. Normally, peach shapes were designed as supporting characters in the composition and they symbolized the good health and longevity. The patterns of cicada suggested the meaning of continuous generations in an endless succession for its biological characteris tics. The cicada shapes were normally carved by the stereoscopic carving method. The project designed the patter of peach as the lead part together with the one of cicada for the first time, which were carved by the way of stereoscopic carving, to express meanings of good healthy, longevity, and continuous generation. The design principle, processing procedure, problems occurred in processing, and relevant resolutions were also introduced.
