摘要
随着我国的公路交通事业迅速发展以及车辆的日益增多,车辆管理效率成为交管部门和停车场管理人员亟待解决的一大难题,尤其是车辆监管和大型停车场车辆管理的问题。因此,车牌识别技术成为急需研究和解决的热点问题之一。针对国内车牌定位识别的需求,项目基于OpenCV开发平台,采用车牌定位、字符分割和字符识别等技术,利用数学形态学和边缘分析的车牌定位、Hough旋转变换和投影分析的字符分割、OCR文字识别等研究算法,对汽车车牌号码进行自动识别。实验结果表明,对三大模块的实现和改进均取得较高的准确率。
With the rapid development of highway transportation and the increasing number of the vehicles in our country, the vehicle management efficiency has become a big problem to be solved by traffic management department and parking lots management, especially the issues of vehicle supervision and vehicle management in large parking. Therefore, the license plate recognition technology has become one of the hot issues that need to be studied and solved urgently. According to the demand of license plate recognition, the project based on Open CV development platform, using the license plate location, character segmentation and character recognition technology, the use of mathematical morphology and edge analysis of license plate localization, Hough transform and projection analysis of character segmentation, OCR character recognition algorithms, such as research for automatic identification of vehicle license plate number. The experimental results show that the implementation and improvement of the three modules have higher accuracy.
