Preparation of TiO_2-PPy modified cotton and its photocatalysis

摘要 采用"吸附-原位聚合"法制备了聚吡咯涂层棉织物(PPy-cotton),通过"浸渍-预烘-焙烘"法将溶胶-凝胶法制备的TiO_2纳米颗粒沉积到PPy-cotton表面,制备具有光催化性能的TiO_2-PPy-cotton改性棉织物。采用扫描电子显微镜、X射线衍射、傅里叶变换红外光谱等手段对样品性能进行表征。以甲基橙溶液为模拟污染物,研究了TiO_2-PPy-cotton的光催化作用。结果表明,经过紫外光和可见光照射3 h,TiO_2-PPy-cotton对甲基橙溶液的降解率分别为89%和73%。 Polypyrrole coated cotton fabric (PPy-cotton) is prepared by the adsorption and in situ polymerization method, and then TiO2 nanoparticles prepared by sol-gel method are deposited onto the PPy-cotton surface to obtain TiO2-PPy-cotton with the photocatalytic performance. The prepared materials are characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity of TiO2-PPy-cotton is evaluated using Methyl Orange solution as model pollutant. The photocatalytic experiments show that the degradation efficiency of Methyl Orange solution reaches 89% and 73% respectively under UV and visible light irradiation for 3 h using TiO2-PPy-cotton as the photocatalyst.
