The Study on Michael Slote's “Ethic Symmetry between Self and Others” and Its Referential Significance on School Moral Education

摘要 迈克尔·斯洛特是当代西方美德伦理学研究领域的集大成者。斯洛特的"自我—他人对称性"思想与其整体的美德伦理学理论体系互为基石。斯洛特强调:主体自身的道德价值与他人的道德价值之间须是平衡性的对称结构,但常识道德、康德义务论、功利主义都在一定程度上低估了主体自身的道德价值,打破了该结构的平衡性及对称性。在分析批判常识道德、康德义务论、功利主义的基础上,斯洛特提出"美德论的对称论"以完成对该思想的论证。该思想不仅在伦理学领域,而且在道德教育的理论研究及实践领域产生了深刻影响,在学校德育范式转型层面具有重要价值,对我国学校德育实效的理解、德育内容的选择、德育评价标准的制定等层面具有重要的启示意义。 Michael Slote is a master in The theory of"ethic symmetry between self the field of contemporary western ethics studies. and others" is the cornerstone of the whole sys- tem of virtue ethics.Slote emphasizes that their own moral values and the moral value of oth- ers must be balance between the ethic symmetrical structure, but common sense morality, Kant' s deontology, utilitarianism all underestimate their own moral value to a certain ex- tent, and break the structure of balance and symmetry.On the analysis of the critical sense of morality, Kant' s deontology, utilitarianism, the theory of"ethic symmetry between self and others"puts forward "symmetry within Virtue Ethics'in order to achieve the theoretical argument.The theory oF'ethic symmetry between self and others"has important effect not on- ly on the field of ethics, but also on the field of theoretical research and practice of moral ed- ucation.At the meantime, the theory has significant value in the level of school moral educa- tion paradigm transformation, and has the vital referential significance on following three factors: the understanding of actual effect of school moral education, the choice of the con- tent of moral education, formulation of evaluation standards on school moral education.
