M2滚丝辊失效原因分析

摘要 通过宏观检验、硬度测试、化学成分分析、金相检验、微观分析和碳化物不均匀度分析等方法,对两个成品W6Mo5Cr4V2(M2)滚丝辊(?23 mm和?40 mm)的失效原因进行综合分析。结果表明,两个样品的金相组织均为回火马氏体+碳化物,局部有网状碳化物、角状碳化物和其他一些过热组织,且均存在碳化物超标现象。可以推断出由于冶金质量差,在热处理过程中存在过热现象使得成品材料脆性增大、热应力增大,在其热应力作用下?40 mm滚丝辊表面开裂,?23 mm滚丝辊受冲击力作用发生脆断。 The reason for crack of the W6 Mo5 Cr4 V2(M2)thread rolling roll were investigated by optical microscope(OM),hardness test,chemical composition analysis,metallographic test,micro-analysis and carbides analysis. It was found that the microstructures of the both samples were composed of tempered martensite and carbides. There were serious network carbides,angular carbides and other eutectic structure in some places. And the carbides were exceeding.Therefore,it can be concluded that there was overheating phenomenon during the heat treatment process resulted in the increase of brittle and thermal stress of the material. The surface of ?40 mm thread rolling roll cracked under thermal stress. The 23 mm thread rolling roll brittle fractured by impact force.
