摘要
大数据时代,翻译技术的迅猛发展对翻译行业和翻译教育产生了巨大影响,翻译技术教学成为翻译教育体系中的重要内容。MTI教育经历过去十年的快速发展,翻译技术教学存在哪些问题?本文通过问卷和访谈对全国249所MTI院校的翻译技术教学现状进行调研。结果表明,在当前的翻译技术教学中存在着翻译技术教学意识薄弱、课程体系缺失、教学资源匮乏、专业师资欠缺等诸多问题。本文针对上述问题提出建议和对策,旨在为MTI教育发展提供借鉴和参考。
In a big-data era,the rapid development in translation technology has exerted significant impact on translation industry and education.As an important part of the professional translation education system,translation technology teaching has experienced problems during the 10-year fast growth of MTI training in China.To identify such problems,we conducted a questionnaire survey of translation technology teachers at 224 of the 249 Chinese MTI institutions,which was then triangulated with semi-structured interviews with 10 of the teachers.A number of problems were identified in current translation technology teaching,such as lack of awareness of the importance and necessity of translation technology teaching,incomplete curriculum system,insufficient teaching resources and translation technology teachers.To combat the above problems,we also made some suggestions with the aim to further strengthen the training and development of the MTI programs.
