木版年画是广东佛山非物质文化遗产,蕴含着广府文化特有的元素,反映出独特的文化内涵,是形象展示广府人风尚习俗和人文精神的艺术奇葩。它种类繁多,题材丰富,包含着丰富的文化内涵。而选取具有独特文化内涵的代表作,分析其文化内涵及特征,遵循跨文化原则,通过英语译文准确地传播其文化信息,有利于加快佛山木版年画对外交流的步伐,同时也有利于促进其保护与发展。
The woodblock annual painting is the intangible cultural heritage of Foshan, Guangdong. It contains the unique elements of Guangfu culture, reflecting the unique cultural connotation. It is a wonderful art of displaying the customs and the humanistic spirit of the people in Guangfu. It has a wide variety, rich subject matter and rich cultural connotation. The cultural connotations and characteristics follow the cross cultural principles and accurately disseminate their cultural information through the English translation. It is beneficial to speed up the pace of Foshan woodblock annual painting exchange and promote its protection and development.
