摘要
介词of出现频率很高,带有＂名词＋of＋名词＂结构短语亦很常见,一般用以强调of前面的名词。根据英文短语意义及汉语表达习惯,以实例分析在翻译该结构短语时处理译文的技巧,以此为译者在翻译常见该结构短语如电影名、书名时提供参考。
The preposition＂of＂is frequently used in English,and phrases with＂noun ＋ of ＋ noun＂structures are also common,which are generally used to emphasize the nouns ahead. Based on the meaning of English phrases and the habit of expression in Chinese,this paper analyzes how to produce translation version by giving cases about techniques and skills in translating phrases with＂noun ＋ of ＋ noun＂structures. Doing so,the author hopes that it can provide reference for the translators when translating phrases with that structure,such as the name of movies and the title of books.
