Research Progress of PEDOT Thermoelectric Materials

摘要 热电材料是一种能够实现热能和电能直接相互转化的新型环保材料。无机热电材料是当前热电性能最好的材料,然而资源较少、价格昂贵和加工性较差等因素限制了无机热电材料大规模工业化。近年来,有机导电聚合物作为热电材料已经日益受到人们的关注。其中,聚(3,4-二氧乙撑噻吩)(PEDOT)热电材料以其优良的热电性能引起了人们的浓厚兴趣。本文首先介绍了PEDOT热电性能改善的方法,并结合该领域近年来的研究成果,对提高PEDOT热电性能的研究进展进行了论述。 Thermoelectric material (TE) is a kind of new environmental protection material that can direct conversion of heat energy and electric energy. Presently, inorganic materials are considered to be the best thermoelectric materials. However, scarce resource, high prices, and poor processability limit the large-scale industrialization of inorganic thermoelectric materials. Organic conducting polymers as thermoelectric materials have received increasing attention recently. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) as thermoelectric materials has drawn extensive attention because of their excellent thermoelectric properties. In this review, we introduce some methods for improving the thermoelectric properties of PEDOT at first, and we discuss the recent thermoelectric properties development of PDEOT with its recent research progress.
