摘要
大数据时代给统计学带来了机遇与挑战,数据呈现出多样性、超高维、海量等特性。常规统计学的理论和方法受到挑战。此时,对于普通本科院校,如何结合大数据发展背景,调整人才培养方案,合理设置相关课程,影响重大。文章以江苏理工学院为例探讨了普通本科院校统计专业的特色和办学定位,以及如何在大数据背景下进行统计学课程调整的思路和实践经验。
The era of big data has brought both opportunities and challenges to statistics. The data is characterized by diversity,ultra high dimensional, mass and so on. Hence, conventional statistical theories and methods are challenged. At this point, for ordinary universities, it＇s important to combine the big data development background with the talent training program to set relevantcourses reasonably. This paper takes Jiangsu University of Technology as an example, discusses the characteristics and orientation ofthe statistics specialty in general undergraduate colleges and how to adjust the curriculum of statistics under the background of bigdata.
