摘要
以博物馆藏品档案的开发利用工作作为研究对象,调查了美国洛杉矶盖蒂研究所开展的各项基于藏品档案的研究项目,重点介绍并分析了盖蒂词表、盖蒂研究门户、研究指南和书目索引、文物收藏和溯源研究工程,这4项档案研究与开发项目代表了目前世界领先的藏品档案开发模式和方法。针对我国博物馆藏品档案管理与利用“重藏轻用”“重管轻用”的现实状况,分析盖蒂研究所上述项目对改进我国藏品档案开发利用工作的启示,以期对我国博物馆藏品档案工作提供有益借鉴,抛砖引玉,引起学界对国外藏品档案开发利用模式的关注,从而改变我国当前不符合知识经济时代的陈旧理念,重视挖掘藏品档案价值,提升开发与利用水平。
This paper studies development and utilization of the archives of museum collections, and investigates several archive-based research projects initiated by the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, the United States. The author analyses four major projects： Getty Vocabulary as Linked Open Data, the Getty Research Portal, Research Guides ＆ Bibliographies and the Project for the Study of Collecting and Provenance, which represent the top of the method and mode in the field. Under the circumstances in which the importance of development and utilization is underestimated compared with the accession and collection management, Getty Research lnstitute＇s experience could be a salutary lesson. As the conservative notion outdated for the era of knowledge-driven economy, it is necessary to reflect on the Getty＇s and explore a way for our museum archival work, in order to rediscovery the value of archives of collections and improve development work.
