Objective To analyze the risk factors and the targeted nursing interventions that affect the cognitive level of patients after complicated hysterectomy. Methods A total of 80 cases of patients underwent elective complicated hysterectomy who were admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to October 2017 were selected as research subjects. The factors of postoperative cognitive level were determined by univariate analysis and multivariate analysis which were conducted in statistical SPSS. Therefore, corresponding intervention measures were proposed. Results In this study, a total of 34 patients(42. 50%) had poor postoperative cognitive status. Logistic multivariate analysis showed that pain, appearance changes, and quality of sexual life were important factors in postoperative cognitive deficits in patients under going complicated hysterectomy. Conclusion The main causes of postoperative cognitive deficit in patients with complicated hysterectomy are pain, physical changes and quality of sexual life. Nursing staff should assess the patient' s cognitive level before surgery as well as formulate health education and behavioral and psychological support strategies. At the same time, they should pay attention to thepatient' s psychological changes. In order to avoid the staged environmental impact, exchange meetings for patients should be organized to improve their compliance and confidence.
