摘要
设计制备了三个具有双吡啶环的希夫碱配体,其中对苯二甲醛双缩烟酸酰腙(terephthalaldehyde bis-nicotinoyl hydrazone,DS2)配体在室温下能够与硝酸银在不同的溶剂中形成刺激响应性的金属凝胶。利用X-射线衍射(XRD)、高分辨质谱(HRMS)、扫描电镜(SEM)以及X-射线光电子能谱(XPS)等技术,详细考察了所得金属凝胶的形成机理,提出了其可能的结构演变过程。流变学研究显示,DS2-Ag凝胶具有完全可逆的触变性质。此结果表明,简单的希夫碱配体和金属离子可以通过配位作用,在形成配位聚合物的同时将溶剂胶凝,从而形成具有优异性能和潜在应用前景的新颖软物质材料。
The Schiff base ligand DS2 (terephthalaldehyde bis-nicotinoyl hydrazone), containing two pyridine rings, was able to form stimulus responsive metaIlogels with AgNO3 in several pure or mixed solvents at room temperature. The forming mechanism of these metallogels has been investigated in detail by X-ray diffraction (XRD), mass spectrometry (MS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and a possible structure evolution process for the metallogels was proposed. Furthermore, rheological measurement has indicated that DS2-Ag metallogel showed a fully reversible thixotropic property. The results have demonstrated that simple Schiff base ligands and metal ions could be used to fabricate metallogels through in situ formation of coordination polymers, and this kind of novel soft materials possess a lot of promising properties for potential applications.
