摘要
本文通过对我国西部地区地方高等院校管理专业开设了双语课程的学生的调查,比对连续两届修同门课程学生的成绩,从理论和实践两个方面论述双语教学在西部地区地方高等院校的教学模式、内容、方法等实施情况和效果,使师生能正确认识双语教学的模式,从而达到双语教学的真正目的。调查发现,过渡式教学模式相较浸入型教学模式更受学生欢迎,过渡式教学模式对学生的英文水平的提高以及课程内容的掌握也更有利。根据双语教学质量的调查,建议双语课程开设的时间最好选择在大学二年级,同时考核方式也应该具有多样性。
Based on the investigation of the students who have offered bilingual courses in local universities andcolleges in the western part of China,this paper compares the achievements of the students who took the same coursesfor two consecutive sessions.This paper discusses the teaching mode,content and method of bilingual teaching in localcolleges and universities in the western region from two aspects of theory and practice,so that teachers and students cancorrectly understand the mode of bilingual teaching and achieve the true purpose of bilingual teaching.It is found thatthe transitional teaching model is more popular than the intrusive one,and the transitional teaching model is morebeneficial to the improvement of students' English proficiency and the mastery of curriculum content.According to thequality of bilingual teachingIt is suggested that the best time for bilingual courses should be in the second year of college,and the examination methods should also be diversified.
