摘要
农村中小学生辍学现象近年来出现回升的态势,引起各界关注。本文在总结学界目前有关研究成果的基础上,指出现有研究存在"弱者归因"与理论建构的不足,并主要结合布迪厄关于教育与社会再生产的理论,分析了农村中小学生辍学现象与现存不平等社会结构之间的复杂关系。最后,文章针对城乡二元文化结构与底层农村人群的认知图式等造成农村辍学的深层次原因,提出了通过增强社区支持与文化表达等方式改变现状的实践建议。
The rising number of student dropouts in rural primary and secondary education has received increasing attention from researchers,educators,a nd policy makers in recent years.The study outlines two major gaps in existingl iterature:a tendency of'blaming the powerless'and a lack of theoretic construction.Applying Bourdieu's theoretical framework on education and social reproduction,the article explores the intricate relationships between rural dropouts and educational inequalities in the social structures.Implication of thes tudy highlights the potentials of changing the unequal structure between thed ominant and rural cultures,and of altering the scheme of knowledge about thes ocial world of disadvantaged rural groups through enhancing community support and cultural self-representation of these groups.
