摘要
This article aims to problematise the ecofeminist /Women,the Environment and Development assumptions of simplistic women\|envirionment linkages and their pitfalls in development policies and practices from theoretical as well as empirical levels.Using examples from the global South, particularly from China,I propose to ground this nexus in women’s lived experiences in specific historical and geographical contexts, and to utilize the theoretical formulations by feminist scholars, particularly feminist geographers to sharpen the understanding of the intersection of gender and the environment.
