This paper focuses on introducing the crafts of the traditional filigree mosaic,briefly discusses its characteristics of the artistic expression,the Practical use and importance in the jewelry making industry,describes the ancient historical heritage,development context and the current status of the filigree mosaic for the techniques and skills.In addition,this paper presents the intricate features and variety of production skills about the filigree mosaic from a professional point of view in order to protect,excavate and inherit of the objective reality and historical responsibility for the filigree mosaic.
