彩色PDP中的误差扩散技术及其改进 被引量:5

摘要 采用子场技术来实现灰度显示的彩色等离子体显示器(PDP),在显示运动图像时出现动态假轮廓现象,增加子场数减少主子场权重,并优化子场排列顺序是一种行之有效的减少动态假轮廓的方法,其缺点是子场数目多。减少子场数目,舍去小权重子场将产生误差,为了补偿由此带来的误差,提出了改进型误差扩散技术,其效果明显优于普通的误差扩散技术,使图像质量大为改善。 The dynamic false contour (DFC)of motion image will appear in color plasma display panel(PDP)that uses subfield technology to display g ray scales.A simple method to wipe off the contour is to increase number of su bfields and optimize the order of the subfields,the demerit of the method is th at it needs a lot of subfields.Abnegating smaller weighted subfields,which can decrease number of subfields,will produce error in display.To compensate the error,a improved error diffusion method is put forward in this paper,its perf ormance is much bet-ter than the general used error diffusion method.
