摘要
目的探讨以学科内容为基础的(content-based instruction,CBI)教学方法在老年医学专业的应用效果。方法选择首都医科大学2012~2013级本科临床医学专业73名学生为研究对象,性别、年龄、英语水平均无差异。分别进行传统教学模式(37人)和CBI模式(36人)讲授医学英语的老年医学部分内容,采用英语考试以及问卷调查相结合的形式,评价两种教学方法的教学效果。结果 CBI教学组学生在医学英语水平测试得分均高于传统教学组,组间比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。问卷调查结果 CBI教学组的学生学习动机也更强,对学习方法、学习效果提高的满意度更高,应对学习困难的能力也更高(P<0.05)。结论应用CBI模式教学比较适合老年医学的英语授课,教学效果好于传统教学模式。
Objective To discuss the application effects of content-based instruction(CBI)teaching method in medicalEnglish teaching of geriatric medicine.Methods This cross-sectional study was explored in Grade2012and2013studentsof Capital Medical University.All of the students were divided into traditional teaching method group(n=37)and CBI group(n=36).There was no difference of gender,age and English level between the two groups.All of the students were taughtby Aging and Geriatric Medicine chapter in medical English.After finishing the courses,medical professional English leveltest was applied to the two groups.Students'English studying interests was also investigated by questionnaires.ResultsThe scores of medical professional English level test in CBI group were higher than those in the traditional teaching methodgroup(P<0.05).The degrees of satisfaction in the improvement of learning motivation,learning method,learning effectand dealing with study difficulties of CBI group were better than those of traditional teaching method group(P<0.05).Conclusion In English teaching of Geriatric medicine,CBI teaching method is better than traditional teaching method.
