Objective To evaluate noninvasive4D dynamic volume computed tomography angiography(CTA)compared to digital subtraction angiography(DSA)in vascular assessment of adult moyamoya disease using the modified Suzuki scoring system.Methods101patients underwent4D CTA and DSA within1week interval between both examinations. The images were evaluated by2neuroradiologists using the modified Suzuki scoring system.Consistency test with calculation ofκvalue and95%confidence interval as well as correlation analysis was performed on the scores of4D CTA and DSA.ResultsThe4D CTA and DSA scores were consistent(κ=0.714,95%confidence interval:0.649-0.778)with significant(P=0)correlation coefficient of0.843.Conclusion4D CTA is comparable to DSA in assessing the severity of moyamoya disease.
