3月7日，中远海运散货运输有限公司的“速电8”准班轮航线正式上线运行，由鹏泰轮执行黄骅至大唐南京电厂的电煤运输任务，至此，经过一年多的发展，由中远海运散运首创的干散货准班轮航线已经铺设到15条。早在2016年7月，刚刚挂牌成立一个月的中远海运散运就发现，受天气、货源等因素影响，在国内北方港口出现了船舶长时间等货等泊的现象，高昂的滞期费让客户苦不堪言。这是一个对船东、货主、港口三方都不利的状况。为了破解困局，与货主、港口实现共赢，中远海运散运总经理杨志坚敏锐探触到同行未达到的价值高地，创造性地提出了开通干散货准班轮的战略设想。
