摘要
合注指两个或两个以上的词形并列出条,共用一条注释。文章考察了《新华字典》合注的86组词语,有同义词、异形词和类义词三种情况,着重分析了数量占绝大多数的同义词和异形词,对合注体例的适切性提出了意见,并提出了修订方案。文章还讨论了《新华字典》合注与古代字书同训的区别。
Integrated-definition means that two or more multisyllabic words are defined together in one entry.This paper examines 86 entries in Xinhua Character Dictionary that adopt this method of definition,which include synonyms,heterographs,and homologous words,but mainly the first two.It studies whether integrated-definition is appropriate for synonyms and heterographs,and if not,then how to revise the definition?In addition,it also discusses the differences between integrated-definition and same-word definition(tongxun).
