连续玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯复合板材的制备及性能 被引量:9

摘要 以连续玻璃纤维为聚丙烯树脂的增强材料,通过熔融浸渍法制备了连续玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯单向预浸带,然后将单向预浸带经热压成型制得连续玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯层合板。采用扫描电子显微镜对单向预浸带进行了表征,考察了玻璃纤维含量、增容剂用量和克重等对连续玻璃纤维增强聚丙烯复合材料的外观形貌、力学性能和结合牢度的影响。研究结果表明:在一定范围内,增加玻璃纤维含量可以提高复合材料的力学性能,当玻璃纤维含量达到65%时,复合材料的力学性能达到最优,继续增加玻璃纤维含量,树脂则难以充分浸渍玻璃纤维,两者结合较差,复合材料的外观变差、力学性能也会明显下降;当增容剂用量从0增加到2.5%时,复合材料的界面结合强度明显改善,力学性能也有较大提高,但进一步提高增容剂用量对复合材料力学性能的改善效果就不明显;随着克重的增大,复合材料的拉伸和弯曲性能下降,但抗冲击性能却有所提高;热氧老化对复合材料的力学性能影响较大,使复合材料的力学性能明显下降。 Unidirectional continuous glass fiber reinforced polypropylene prepreg tapes were prepared by melt impregnation method and then laminated plates were made with these unidirectional prepreg tapes by hot-pressing method.The unidirectional prepreg tapes were characterized by scanning electron microscope.Besides,the effects of glass fiber content,grammage and thermooxidative aging of composite on morphology,mechanical properties and bonding strength of continuous glass fiber reinforced polypropylene composites were researched.The results show that the mechanical properties of composite could be improved with the increase of glass fiber content within certain limits.When glass fiber content reach 65%,the mechanical properties of composite are optimal.But the appearance would get worse and the mechanical properties also suffer significantly declining for glass fiber impregnation issue when glass fiber content is excessive.When the dosage of compatibilizer increase from 0 to 2.5%,the interface bonding strength of composite is improved distinctly,and thus the mechanical properties of composite are enhanced drastically.However,it almost make no difference to the mechanical properties of composite with further compatibilizer addition.The mechanical properties of composite could be improved to some extent with the addition of compatibilizer.Furthermore,with the increase of grammage of unidirectional prepreg tape,tensile and flexural property of the composite decrease,while impact property increase.Importantly,the various mechanical properties gradually decrease with the thermo-oxidative aging of composite.
