摘要
2013年5月,由科研机构和民间陨石爱好者联合组成的沙漠陨石科考队在新疆库姆塔格沙漠周边成功收集到47块陨石,本文对其中12块具代表性的新疆沙漠陨石的矿物岩石学特征进行了研究。结果显示:11块陨石样品为平衡型普通球粒陨石,依据其橄榄石Fa值、低钙辉石Fs值、球粒结构特征等划分出9块L5型、2块H5型; 1块(库姆塔格014)为非平衡普通球粒陨石,球粒结构清晰,具有不均一的矿物化学组成,依据其Fa、Fs值以及橄榄石的PMD值等将其划分为L3. 4亚型。这些陨石的冲击变质程度在S1~S3,风化程度在W1~W3。对12块沙漠陨石以及荷叶塘陨石(L3型)和吉林陨石(H5型)样品进行了阴极发光测试,荷叶塘和库姆塔格014这两块3型陨石中部分橄榄石球粒发强红色光,长石质玻璃作为球粒基质以发强蓝色光为主;吉林陨石和新疆沙漠陨石中的5型陨石,长石质玻璃发暗淡蓝光,橄榄石基本不发光,少数磷灰石发橘黄色光。差异明显的阴极发光现象可作为判断平衡型与非平衡型普通球粒陨石岩石类型的辅助参考。
In May 2013,47 meteorites samples were found and collected around the Kumtag Desert in Xinjiang by specialists.In this paper,the mineral petrological characteristics of 12 representative desert meteorites in Xinjiang are studied.The results show that:(1)The 11 of them are balanced ordinary chondrites,and 9 pices of L5 type and 2 pices of H5 type are classified according to the Fa value for olivine,the Fs value for low-calcium pyroxene and the spherical structure.(2)The 1(Kumtag 014)of them is a non-equilibrium ordinary chondrite with typical spherulitic texture and a non-uniform mineral chemical composition,classified into the L3.4 subtype based on its Fa and Fs values and the PMD value of the olivine.The shock metamorphic stages of them are between S1 to S3.The weathering degrees of these chondrites are between W1 to W3.The 12 desert meteorites from Xinjiang as well as Heyetang meteorite and Jilin meteorite are selected for cathodeluminescence test.In Heyetang meteorite and Kumtag 014 desert meteorite(Type 3),some olivines emit strong red luminescence,while feldspathic glass as mesostasis emits strong blue luminescence.Among Jilin meteorites and Xinjiang desert meteorites(Type 5),feldspar glass emit faint blue luminescence,a few apatites emit orange luminescence,and olivines do not emit luminescence.The obvious difference of cathodoluminescence can be used as an auxiliary reference for judging the rock types of balanced and non-equilibrium ordinary chondrite meteorites.
