摘要
经济全球化、教育国际化给大学英语教育带来了机遇的同时也带来了挑战。要想实现新的人才培养目标,大学英语教师必须经历痛苦的转型,由通用英语教育者转向特殊用途英语教育者。其实现途径是多样的,但ESP教师身份构建是必不可少的过程。
The globalization of economy and the internationalization of education have brought both opportunities and challenges to college English education.To realize the new goal of talent training,they have to undergo a painful transformation from teaching general English to teaching academic English for special purposes to make students qualified communicators on the international stage.There are many ways to achieve the goal,but the construction of ESP teacher identity is a necessary process.
