In order to understand the environment pollution problem with high concentration of BC and other pollutants in subway, the AE-51micro black carbon meter was used to monitor and analyze the daily and intra-day changes of black carbon(BC)concentration in Tonghuamen subway station from April to May2017.Meanwhile the BC individual exposure differences were shown between the underground and aboveground of the station and inside and outside of the train. The influencing factors of black carbon concentration in subway and the exposure characteristics of individuals were discussed. The results show that from the intra-day change of black carbon concentration the trend is bimodal, which is basically consistent with the changing of the peak period of commuting. From the diurnal variation of black carbon concentration, the concentration during the holiday is1-2times of the working day.Meanwhile, the concentration is not only closely related to the frequency and intensity of human activities, but also to the impact of meteorological conditions on the day.The BC pollution level of the above ground subway station was affected by meteorological conditions and is higher than the underground station. The black carbon concentration in the compartment is about1-2times more than the platform. It can be seen that the closed environment is more detrimental to the diffusion of black carbon particles.
