摘要
在"国标"出台之际,探究外语课程改革背景下社会对英语专业课程设置的需求。通过对T校英语系本科毕业生所在工作单位进行半开放式访谈,研究发现,社会对英语专业人才的需求与"国标"倡导的多元理念相吻合,但相比其所主张的学科人文特色,更强调课程内容的实用性。据此建议,要落实《国标》精神,仍须充分考虑地区经济社会发展对人才的具体需求,在"人文教育"与"技能培养"之间寻求平衡,才能突破学科建设的困境。
On the occasion of the national standards,this paper gives semi-open interviews to employers of English graduates in a college,so as to explore the social demand for English majors curriculum in the context of foreign language curriculum reform.It is found that the demand of the society for English professionals is consistent with the concept of pluralism advocated in the national standards.However,in contrast to the humanistic features suggested by it,employers emphasize the practicality of the curriculum.Therefore,in order to implement the spirit of the national standards,it is necessary to fully consider the specific needs of talents for regional economic and social development,and to strike a balance between"humanities education"and"skills development",so as to overcome the predicament of discipline construction.
