Objective:To investigate the effect of SHEL mode on adverse blood collection events and patient satisfaction in outpatients. Methods:Fifty patients who underwent blood collection in our hospital from January to September in 2017 were selected as the control group. Another 50 patients who underwent blood collection from October 2017 to June 2018 were observed. The control group was subjected to a routine blood collection procedure, and the observation group was subjected to the SHEL mode. The incidence of adverse events and patient care satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of adverse events in the control group was 12.00%(6/50), which was statistically significant (0.05%)(P<0.05). The total satisfaction rate of the control group was 85.00%(42/50). The group was 96.00%(48/50), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The SHEL model can effectively reduce the incidence of adverse events in outpatients, avoid disputes between doctors and patients, and improve patient care satisfaction.
