摘要
《最后一盘录音带》和《动物园的故事》是荒诞派戏剧的代表作,旨在表现现实的荒诞、存在的无奈及世界的虚无。尽管两部作品存在很多差异,但均采用了简化舞台场景、消解语言功能、丰富主题隐喻等创作技巧。剧作通过将形式与内容的完美结合,创造出独特的审美体验,展示了西方精神世界分崩离析的图景,让读者或观众直面剧作家内心诗意的形象,从而以超然的态度面对世界。
Krapp's Last Tape and The Zoo Story are famous absurd plays,aiming at presenting the absurd reality,helpless existence and nihilistic world.Though there are many differences between the plays,both adopted simplified stage setting,derogative language function and rich thematic metaphors.From integrating form with content,the plays provide unique aesthetic experience in displaying a disintegrating picture of western spiritual,thus enableaudiences to sense directly the poetic image in the playwrights'mind and face the world with an aloof attitude.
