模块化和案例式教学在地理科学专业GIS课程实践中的应用 被引量:5

摘要 地理信息系统(Geographic Information System,GIS)课程是地理科学专业培养计划的重要组成部分,采用传统课堂教学模式培养GIS实践技能已不能适应社会市场需求。文中结合陕西理工大学师范类地理科学专业和GIS实践课程的特点,分析GIS实验和实践教学中存在的不足与问题,对实践课程进行模块化和案例式教学模式探索,从教学设计改进、教学实施及考核效果等方面加以分析。通过2015—2017年的教学效果分析可知,课程考核成绩70分以上的学生人数比重持续增加。在案例式教学模式实施后,学生的课堂理解能力提高了15.5%。67.6%以上学生对教学课堂的持久度>30 min。本科生参加各类别GIS类学科竞赛的人数持续增加,获奖累积人数为58人次,占地理科学在校本科生总人数的27.2%。 The course of Geographic Information System(GIS)is an important part of the training plan for geographical sciences major.The traditional training of GIS practical skills and classroom teaching mode has gradually been unable to meet the needs of social market.Combining with the characteristics of GIS practice course of Shaanxi University of University,this paper analyzes the shortage and problems in the teaching of GIS experiment and practice,in order to explore the modular and case-based teaching model.The improvement of the teaching content,teaching implementation,and evaluation results were analyzed.On the period of 2015-2017,the proportion of the number of students above 70 score is increasing continuously.After the implementation of the case-based teaching model,the students′ability to understand the class has increased by 15.5%.More than 67.6%of the students'persistence in teaching class is>30 minutes.The number of undergraduates participating in all kinds of GIS disciplines competition is increasing.The cumulative number of awards-winning is 58 students,accounting for 27.2%of the total number of undergraduates in geography.
