Objective To explore the application value of floating position in complex ankle fracture surgery under the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery(FTS). Methods 60 patients with complex ankle fracture who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from January 2016 to December 2017 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The patients in control group were placed in normal supine position while those in observation group were placed in floating position. The operation time, hospitalization time and follow-up fracture healing time of the two groups were analyzed and compared. The ankle and hind foot function(AOFAS) was graded one year after the operation according to AOFAS evaluation criteria. Results The operation time, hospitalization time and follow-up fracture healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). AOFAS evaluation showed that the excellent and good rate of the observation group was 93.33%, higher than 66.67% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). Conclusion Under the guidance of FTS concept, floating position is helpful to improve the operation efficiency and shorten the time of operation, hospitalization and fracture healing in the operation of complex ankle fracture. It has high clinical application value.
