电力通信网是将电力系统作为依托,将通信支撑和服务有效地提供给电力系统营销和生产以及办公管理的通信网络。以光纤通信为主体,卫星电路和微波进行辅助,在电力系统的变电站和电力线以及各个营业场所已经广泛应用,主要由ADSS光缆、电力特种OPGW光缆、业务网、传输网以及支撑网构成,属于多功能和多用户的综合性通信网,将现代数据信息、承载传统语音以及各种控制电力信息等相关业务集于一体。
