摘要
为了简化液晶材料的合成工艺,本文研究了一种威廉逊醚化反应和酯化反应"一锅法"合成4’-己氧基联苯-4-甲酸己酯的方法.通过核磁共振谱、气相-质谱联用以及红外光谱确认了目标化合物的分子结构.采用差示扫描量热法、偏光显微镜、热重分析法研究了目标化合物的液晶性能和热稳定性.结果表明:在碳酸钠存在下,以18-冠醚-6为催化剂,通过控制4’-羟基联苯-4-羧酸和溴代正己烷的摩尔比例为1∶1.5,可实现醚化酯化"一锅法"合成;该化合物在液晶相范围(79.96-86.06℃)呈近晶相焦锥织构,在205℃以下具有良好的热稳定性.
In order to simplify the preparation process of liquid crystal materials,the paper presents a new one pot synthesis method involving etherification and esterification.By this method,hexyl 4’-(hexyloxy)-[1,1’-biphenyl]-4-carboxylate was synthesized successfully.And its molecular structure was confirmed by 1H NMR,13C NMR,GC-MS and FTIR.Additionally,the liquid crystal performance and thermal stability of the target compound were studied using DSC,POM and TGA.The results suggest that in the presence of sodium carbonate and 18-crown-6,such one-pot synthesis method can be achieved by controlling the molar proportion of 4’-hydroxy-[1,1’-biphenyl]-4-carboxylic acid and 1 bromohexane(1∶1.5).This compound presents a focal conic texture at liquid crystal phase(79.96-86.06 ℃)and possesses good thermal stability below 205 ℃.
