摘要
文章运用平行文本对比模式,归纳和分析了中英文银行网站简介在文本信息和语言表达方面的差异,揭示现有英译本的不足,探讨其对中国银行企业外宣文本英译者的重要启示。在此基础上,提出应采用变通的英译策略和适当的媒介,在充分尊重目标受众阅读习惯的基础上实现外宣文本的信息传播和感染功能,以提高译文的接受度,实现中国银行企业文化的有效对外传播。
Utilizing the model of comparing parallel texts,this paper analyzes the differences of English and Chinese on-line bank introductions in both content and approaches of expression.This study reveals problems in present Chinese on-line bank introduction translation and some significant implications in translating corporate publicities.Based on the findings of this study,some flexible translation strategies,such as compiling and rewriting,diversified expressions and the adoption of more proper media should be used as guidelines in translating Chinese on-line bank introductions.The translation strategies proposed in this paper take the readers of the target language and the acceptance of the translation into full consideration and will facilitate the communication of Chinese culture and Chinese corporate publicity with the target language culture.
