摘要
间充质干细胞(MSCs)的免疫调节功能成为近年来的研究热点之一。癫痫是一种以反复发作为特征的复杂性神经系统疾病,而炎症反应是癫痫发生和反复发作的一个重要因素。研究表明,MSCs能够有效治疗多种退行性疾病造成的炎性反应,且发现MSCs可以通过炎症微环境发挥免疫调节功能。简要综述了MSCs在治疗癫痫所致炎症中的作用,旨在为临床应用MSCs防治癫痫提供理论依据。
Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have attracted much attention for their ability to regulate inflammatory processes.Epilepsy is a serious neurological disorder characterized by excessive electrical discharges in the brain,thus causing progressive neural cell damage and subsequent loss,accompanied with the important factor inflammation.Studies have shown that MSCs can effectively treat a variety of degenerative diseases and inflammatory diseases,and found that MSCs can play an immunoregulatory function through the inflammatory microenvironment.However,the regulation mechanism of MSCs in the treatment of epilepsy is still unclear.This paper briefly reviewed the role of MSCs in the treatment of inflammation caused by epilepsy and the research progress,so as to provide theoretical basis for the clinical application of MSCs in the prevention and treatment of epilepsy.
