Objective:To study the effects of intelligent war injury simulator and battlefield first-aid training system in the training of war injury treatment.Methods:36 undergraduate students and 38 graduate students of Military Medical Colleges and universities were randomly divided into 2 groups(n=37)for training in debridement, dressing, hemostasis, suspension fixation of maxillary fracture and intermaxillary ligation. The trainees in the experimental group were trained by the simulated human system, while those in the control group by the traditional methods of teaching and practicing with each other, and the expert written examination was used to assess and record the results. In addition,74 trainees and 15 trainers were surveyed with questionnaires, data were analyzed. Results:The scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),and all of the personnels gave highly evaluation of the system and considered that the system is necessary to be equiped. Conclusion:The simulator system is more effective in the training of the management of oral and maxillofacial tranma.
