聚乙烯微塑料对绿豆发芽的毒性研究 被引量:47

摘要 近年来,微塑料污染成为全球高度关注的环境问题。但是多数研究是针对海洋生态系统进行的,微塑料对陆地生态系统的影响,尤其是其植物效应尙缺乏认识。本试验研究了不同粒径(0.55-0.88、0.106-0.15、0.023-0.038mm)、不同浓度(0.1、1、10、100mg/g)的聚乙烯微塑料对绿豆发芽的影响。结果发现,所有微塑料处理均没有显著降低绿豆的发芽率。粒径在0.55-0.8、0.106-0.15mm的微塑料在所设暴露浓度下对芽长、根长、鲜重、干重均没有显示出抑制作用,甚至在一定浓度时有刺激作用。0.023mm-0.038mm的微塑料,尤其是暴露浓度为100mg/g时,对绿豆幼苗的生长和水分吸收表现出显著抑制作用。微塑料影响植物水分吸收可能是其中的一个毒性机制。综上,聚乙烯微塑料的植物毒性与粒径和浓度密切相关,粒径越小、浓度越高,其植物毒性可能越强。 In recent years,microplastic pollution has become a global environmental issue attracting increasing concern.However,most previous studies have been focused on marine ecosystem,and the impacts of microplastics on terrestrial ecosystem,particularly on plants,still are not well studied.land of great concern.Here,the present experiment studied the germination and seedling elongation of mung bean as influenced by polyethylene microplastics with different particle sizes(0.55-0.88,0.106-0.15,0.023-0.038 mm)and different doses(0.1,1,10,100 mg/g).Results showed that all microplastics did not decrease the germination rate of mung bean seeds irrespective of particle size and exposure dose.The microplastics with sizes of 0.55-0.8 mm and 0.106-0.15mm at all the exposure doses had no significant inhibitive effects,and sometimes even stimulation,on elongation and fresh and dry weights of shoots and roots.However,the microplastics with size of 0.023-0.038 mm,especially at dose of 100 mg/g,inhibited seedling growth and water absorption.Inhibition of water uptake by plants may represent one of the mechanisms involved in microplastic phytotoxicity.To conclude,the phytotoxicity of polyethylene microplastics is closely related with their particle size and exposure dose,and smaller particle size and higher dose may produce greater phytotoxicity.
