摘要
对于超大型城市的运营商承载网,网络扩容和端口扩展始终是一项复杂的工程。由于要保持在用网络的稳定性,只能通过新增节点来达到网络扩容的目的。但是,新增节点势必会改变原有网络结构,造成全网路由的更新,也可能造成一些空余节点的资源浪费。通过智能弹性架构(Intelligent Resilient Framework,IRF)技术,可以在不影响原有网络结构的基础上,针对端口使用率高的设备,将两台或多台设备堆叠成一台虚拟设备,以达到端口扩容的目的。经过试验验证,虚拟设备在网络中的角色和作用与单台物理设备并无区别,对运营商数据承载网的持续发展具有重要意义。
Network expansion and port expansion are always a complex project for carriers’ bearer networks in super-large cities. In order to maintain the stability of in-use network, the network expansion can only be achieved by adding new nodes. However, the addition of nodes is bound to change the original network structure, resulting in the update of the entire network routing, and or leading to waste of resources on some spare nodes. Via IRF (Intelligent Resilient Framework) technology and aiming at the devices with high port utilization, two or more devices may be stacked into one virtual device without affecting the original network structure, so as to achieve the goal of end-to-end port expansion. The experiment indicates that the role and function of virtual devices in the network is no different from that of a single physical device, which is of great significance to the sustainable development of carrier data bearer network.
