Developing and fast charge performance of high power Li-ion battery

摘要 研制额定容量5Ah的高功率LiNi0.5Mn0.3Co0.2O2三元正极材料锂离子电池,对比陶瓷隔膜与普通隔膜对电池倍率性能的影响,并研究电池的快速充电性能、高倍率循环性能及安全性能。相比普通隔膜,陶瓷隔膜可提升电池的倍率性能。采用陶瓷隔膜制备的电池最高可进行200A(40C)放电(3.0-4.1V),放电容量可达4A时的75.2%,而采用普通隔膜的电池仅为16.3%。陶瓷隔膜电池50A充电的恒流比达到87.0%,具有良好的快充性能;以20A在3.0-4.2V循环1000次,容量保持率为85.2%,且循环后负极表面无析锂,表明电池具备20A的长期高倍率循环能力。在过充、过放、短路及针刺实验中,电池未起火、爆炸. 5 Ah high power LiNi0.5Mn0.3Co0.2O2 ternary cathode Li-ion battery was developed.The effect of ceramic separator and ordinary separator on the battery rate capability was compared.Fast charge,high rate cycle and safety performance were investigated.The battery using ceramic separator had better rate capability and could even discharge at 200 A(40 C,3.0-4.1 V),delivering 75.2%of the capacity at 4 A.The battery using ordinary separator only delivered 16.3%.The constant current ratio(Qcc/Qcccv)of the battery charged at 50 A was 87.0%exhibiting a fine fast charge performance.After 1 000 cycles at 20 A in 3.0-4.2 V,85.2%of the capacity was maintained.The battery revealed the ability to long-term high rate cycle at 20 A for the anode of the battery,which had no lithium precipitation on the anode surface.In the over-charge,over-discharge,external short-circuit and nail penetrating tests,there was no fire or explosion.
