摘要
辩证研究是一种以唯物辩证主义为哲学基础的新范式。与现行研究范式相比,有四个明显特色:第一,以解决中国外语教育中系统且关键问题为研究对象;第二,以追求理论-实践-阐释同步优化为目标;第三,以学习借鉴-提出理论-实践理论-反思阐释多次迭代循环为研究流程;第四,以多元化成员为研究团队。自这一范式提出以来,人们提得最多的问题是:它与行动研究有何差别。本文将从哲学基础、研究对象、研究目标和研究流程四个方面系统比较两者的异同。
Dialectical Research(DR)is a new research paradigm with dialectical materialism as its philosophical basis.Compared with the existing paradigms,DR is characterized by four salient features:(1)Addressing a systemic and key problem in foreign language education in China;(2)Aiming at achieving a triple goal,i.e.,optimizing theory-practice-interpretation;(3)Taking learning-theorizing-practicing-reflecting/interpreting as iterative cycles of research process;(4)Involving a team of diversified researchers.Since DR has been proposed,one of the most frequently-asked questions is uTo what extent is DR different from Action Research(AR)?”The paper endeavors to answer the question by comparing the two from four perspectives:philosophical basis,research object,research objectives and research process,to illustrate similarities and differences.
