Objective To analyze the related factors of patients with cerebral infarction complicated with pulmonary infection and its effect on prognosis. Methods 50 patients with cerebral infarction who were treated in our hospital from January 2014 to January 2018 were selected.According to the criteria of whether there was pulmonary infection,25 patients with pulmonary infection were set as the infection group while 25 patients without infection were set as the non-infection group. The indexes of the two groups were compared. Results The smoking history, consciousness disorder, cancer, invasion operation,large-scale cerebral infarction, age and other indexes in the infection group were significantly different from those in the non-infection group,P < 0.05.The mortality rate of the infection group was significantly higher than that of the non-infection group and the hospital stay was longer than that of the non-infection group. The reduction of the NIHSS score of the infection group was significantly lower than that of the non-infection d group. There were significant differences in comparison between groups,P < 0.05. Conclusion Smoking history,large-scale cerebral infarction, consciousness disorder, cancer and invasive operation are the main factors of pulmonary infection. Therefore, targeted intervention treatment is needed to control pulmonary infection.
