摘要
乐教是儒家最重要的教化方式之一。在儒家看来,乐表达了人们的性情。其中的性情,在早期属于气,到了宋明理学时期,性分化出气质之性,还是气,因此,乐的本源其实是气。用善的乐来感化人,其实就是用善的气质来激发人身上的善的气质而抑制恶的气质,最终使人成为圣贤。善气呼应善气便是儒家乐教的工作原理。
Music education is one of the most important means to educate people for Confucianism. According to Confucianism, music is an unfolding of people’s nature, which, in the early history of Confucianism, coincides with ether. Since the Song Dynasty, two beings are derived from the nature, one of which is matter as well. Thereby, the foundation of music is something as ether or matter. To educate people with good music, in fact, is to arouse the good nature within the body by emitting the good matter with music, which, finally, leads people to be good or moral. The answer of good nature to the good music, is the dynamics of Confucian theory of music education.
