The European Renaissance took place from the 14th to the 17th century, while the African slave trade gradually thrived in the middle of the 15th century, and a large number of black African people were brought to Europe as slaves.Black African became the reference to European white people as the Other, and were excluded from European mainstream society.Due to different physical appearance, personality, behavior characteristics, occupation, etc.,the image of black African is stereotyped as savage, lazy and irresponsible, and they are born slaves in the eyes of Europeans. The reasons for the stereotyping of negative image of black African can be found from the history, culture and customs.
